Like a whirling tornado at the center of a cat5 hurricane, so my past month has been. I am fast realizing that doing a book tour is not for the faint of heart. Even with fairly honed organizational skills, I felt pulled in many directions, but would not have traded it for anything. The launch/signing evening at Home Hardware in Sarnia was attended by dozens, and the book itself has been incredibly well received, with still more heartfelt comments pouring in all the time.

"Finished your book, it was amazing, loved it. I have to admit that was the first book I read in a very long time and so glad I did, it made me lol and cry, xo" NV

"I want to thank you for your book. It has made me cry, smile, laugh and cry and smile some more. What an amazing job you have done. You have lived more life in your 67 years than most could in 200 years." KH

"I received you book today! Thank you! I flipped through and read a few chapters starting at the back! So love what you have done. When I read your Afterward....tears started streaming down my face. It went deep into my soul! God bless you Dana! What a treasured legacy you have written..." DA

"Really enjoying your book! The cars, the freedom, the rollerskating, the music. It's all right in my wheelhouse. So far, it's great." MC

I did two public media gigs with YourTV and The Show with Dave Burrows, providing listeners with insights as to the reasons for penning my tales, with some added bonus material thrown in for good measure. I definitely enjoyed the exposure and again, the comments were positive.

At this time, I can verify that copies of my work have reached near and far reaching places such as Australia, Scandinavia, England, the UAE, Yukon, many states south of the border and of course, all across our great country. Word is spreading and the message is getting out. A heartfelt thanks to each of you, for not only purchasing the book, but for taking the time to really hear what I am saying. Your comments reflect that.

Next up, I have promised my friends in Kingston that I would be coming though to spend some time with you, and that, I will do, real soon, and I still have to do some visiting to many people in Nova Scotia when I get back to the east coast. Thank you all for your patience!

All this perpetual movement has culminated in me taking this week off to enjoy some family and cottage life in the Kawartha's region of Ontario. It feels good to chill, even for a short time, so in the spirit of my nomadic lifestyle, I will now go sit by the lake and consume a beverage or two!

Don't forget to follow along with the many photo images I have included on this website. It really does provide a cool visual to the narrative of the book.

And lastly, I would really appreciate it if you would write a short review on Amazon, even if you didn't buy it on that site. I know I'm being a pain in the ass, but it really does help with the exposure.

Cheers and God Speed, my friends!

Dana
